H2B del sol. fs/ft
i have my 1994 del sol si up for sale or trade.
PLEASE READ THE INTIRE AD BEFORE YOU ASK ME QUESTIONS.
body:
integra wing.
carbon fiber rear bezel.
97 front end.
clean zero rust (still has factory weather stripping under rear wheel wells)
carbon fiber hood.
135xxx original miles.
DOHC V-Tec decals on both sides.
wheels, suspension and brakes:
rota sub zero's 15"
pink blox extended lugs.
5mm wheel spacers up front (to clear brakes)
wilwood big brake kit up front. drilled and slotted rotors. steel brake lines. 4 piston calipers.
type r rear disk brake swap. steel lines.
ohlins full body coil overs (type-r) 30 way dampening. (best suspension i've ever had)
blox upper control arms. adjustable.
function7 LCA's (type-r style to make suspension fit)
type r rear sway bar.
energy suspension master bushing kit. pretty much every bushing on the car has been replaced with energy suspension.
both lower ball joints up front have been replaced in the last 2 months.
new driver side front wheel bearing.
type-r front sway bar.
motor:
h22a1 long block.
pro series intake mani.
pro series 70mm TB.
RC 440cc injectors.
aem fuel rail/fpr w pressure gauge.
3" intake.
PRM Try-Y H2B header.
full 3" stainless exhaust.
97 spec type-r LSD trans (B series)
evolution H2B master kit (hasport mounts, evo plate. evo flywheel, evo half shaft. evo pcv.
evo slave adapter. evo extended fork.
act 6 puck un sprung clutch.
bradded steel clutch line.
fluidyne dual core full size radiator/ slim fan.
brand new axles this week.
type-r shift linkage and shifter.
MSD external coil, dizzy cap, rotor, wires.
walbro 255.
interior:
97 interior. (dash, center consol, seats)
3" offset 6 bolt steering wheel.
clean interior, driver seat has a small rip.
mp3 cd player.
RF amp to power the interior speakers, no subs.
battery re located behind passenger seat.
engine bay:
the bay was painted light blue, then splattered with pink, green, yellow and white.
semi tucked bay.
red valve cover off a jdm h22a.
trans is painted.
a lil about the car. it runs and drives great. just got it off the dyno for a tune it put down 206whp and 170 torque on 91 octane pump gas.. rev limit 7,500 cel shift light at 7,100 2step at 4,000.
was on a dyno dynamics not all the way corrected so the actual whp is a lil more. right around 215whp.
even with lsd trans, it gets no traction 1-3. its a blast to drive. stays dead nuts/pulls on with k swapped eg's.
tuned by Curt Miller at Dynotunedperformance in Middleton WI
now for the dreaded bad list:
no wipers/ motor assmbly.
no heater core/climate controls. (no heat and no ac)
cf hood is cut up underneath to get the hood to shut. since with h2b it ***** the motor forward and makes hoods not like to close worth a ****.
this car was gutted when i got it, was a weekend track car.
can only lock/unlock the doors from the outside with the key. (to prevent someone reaching in to unlock the doors. can be re hooked up with door panel off)
other than that every thing works as it should, windows, blinkers/lights ect.
i am looking to trade my del sol for another honda, swapped and clean would be nice. im defiantly not gonna trade for a rusted sohc, unless you got deep pockets to throw my way also. so keep that in mind. my car is not perfect, but it is in great shape for the year/setup.

he was on junk radials and a open diff. he got a 12.9 finally at cordova few weeks back. his car is so much fun to drive for being stock k

come winter id be willing to sell the h long block, pro series intake, pro series tb, rc injectors. blah blah all the good stuff. h2b kit. pretty much a full h2b swap minus trans. im gonna do just b swap. will include tuned ecu 210 whp 170tq motor put down. can come get a ride in the car before its pulled to ensure it runs strong and has no problems. that wont be for a lil while yet (soon as weather gets cold, buying a forester this weekend for winter car so del sol will be parked) just to see if anyone has any interest in it.

not to sure what to ask for it. not a super common swap being sold i guess. not to sure. or id trade my swap for a b series long block. and keep my trans. or for right price sell my whole swap with the trans h2b kit. everything...

If that motor were in any other civic I would buy it in a second. I don't need another sol....

thanks man, if i get rid of this I'm gonna be looking at something newer. i have my 94 ex sedan still. so ill always have some sort of civic. but id like to get a newer rsx, or maybe even not a honda for a change. i probably wouldn't be interested in anymore H swapped cars haha I've had to many of them.
