01-0402 NHBP Integra Type R
Looking to sell 01-0402. Recently picked it up last month as I got the ITR bug but quickly realize that I'm just getting too old for this as this would be my 5th R in the last 10 years. I also had planned to track her this year for auto-x/HPDE but it does not look like it'll be happening this year. I've put on about 1k and thats mainly from driving the car back home from out of state (11 hours straight). Since I've had her, I've taken her to 1 auto-x event and parked her in the garaged. The R's been in great hands throughout its life as well (previous owners that I know of - Bald (H-T), Shoey (ITRCA)). I copied and paste the previous owner's ad here and edited a few things and will get updated pictures soon. I am only looking for CASH.
EDIT: 7/29
I am planning on parting her out if not sold by 8/1.
$6k fo the shell (we can talk about what comes with it)
$3k for the entire swap (engine, tranny, axles, shift linkage, wire harness, ecu)
$800 for the toda header
$500 for the suspension
2001 NHBP 01-0402
- Car located in Minneapolis, MN
- Clean title in hand
- 4rd owner
- 110k miles
- Asking price: $10900
Interior:
- Very clean door panels (except previous owner used fabric paint to paint the fabric red, you can kind of see in pics) and seats, both have low fad and little wear
- Rest of interior is all stock with the exception of a quad pod gauge bezel (OEM bezel included)
Exterior:
- JDM front (done by previous owner but done right)
- Paint is in exceptional condition (members who've seen the car can vouch)
- EDM tail lights
- Factory ITR wheels (Plasti Dipped Black)
- Clifford alarm system
Engine/Transmission:
- stock original motor and transmission (matching vins)
- Hard Race Hard Rubber Motor Mounts (5 piece)
- Comptech Icebox intake
- Toda Header
- SMSP highflow 2.5 cat
- Hytech exhaust
Suspension:
- PIC 8Kf/6kr (less than 10k miles)
- New NAPA axles
- Fresh rear hub assemblies
- Hawk HP+ front pads/HPS Rear pads
- Stainless brake lines
- JDM rear strut bar
Maintenance Items (all were performed as preventive because I'm OCD):
- Napa Front axles (July 2012)
- Motul MTF, Coolant and ATE brake fluid (July 2012)
- Timing Belt complete service (plugs, wires, rotor, etc.) (98K miles I believe July 2009)
- OEM Rear Hub assemblies (December 2011)
- Hawk HP+ front brake pads, HPS rear pads (June 2010)
- NAPA blank rotors (June 2010)
The bad:
- Car was in front fender bender prior to my purchase (no air bags deployed, frame damage, etc. clean title). You can check car fax to verify (I have a copy of the AutoCheck) Previous owners' parents owned a body shop so he used the insurance money to install the JDM front (done right).
- Usual 3rd gear grind at high RPM's
- Typical door dings and scratches from use.
- Two other imperfections (again prior to my posession): 4 in. crack in paint above the rear wheel (someones door hit it) and paint chips in the shape of an egg from someone hitting the car with an egg (I have a buddy who is an autobody specialist for Cadiallac who verified this because I didn't believe the pervious owner). I will get detail pictures up soon.
The good:
Solid running car with cold AC, heat and power steering. Car has been babied sitting in my garage with factory car cover on it since purchase. I bought the car with 98k miles 4 years ago and it currently sits with 107k. The car would make for a great daily driver or can easily be used for a weekend track warrior. The reason I am selling is because I have no time to enjoy the car anymore. I have two kids which gives me little time to be selfish at this point in my life.
Pics
Current pictures (the Volks will not come with the car, but the OEM's that has been plastidipped)
How the car will come:

Re: 01-0402 NHBP Integra Type R
that's what i thought when i got it but they're actually pretty cool. i have the oem bezel if the buyer wants it back to stock and the gauges are connect via a sandwhich plate so it'll be easy to unplug.
