FS: 1990 Honda CRX Si
Up for sale is my CRX Si, I need something more practical than a 2 seater considering I have a kid, so the Honda has to go. This is the Si model meaning it has the sunroof (which doesn't leak) and disc brakes all around. Buy with confidence, I am a mechanic at a Honda dealership and make sure to keep this thing running like a charm. The price is negotiable but don't text me telling me you have 1000 . For starters, I am going to list all the good things about the car. If interested, text me at 301- four four two - 6157 or email me i don't really get on here so pm's might take a while to get a response also I'm not really looking to trade but i could use a 4X4 truck or suv
Good:
- Clean title
- New master cylinder
- New front wheel bearings
- New ball joints
- New inner and outer tie rods
- New trailing arm bushings
- Lowered Tokico lumina adjustable shocks
- Skunk2 front camber kit
- Skunk2 rear lower arms
- SPC rear camber kit
- Beaks bar
- Thermal Exhaust 2.5 inch
- Double DIN DvD player head unit
- No underbody rust
Now on to the bad things which are honestly very minimal for a car this old
- The oil pan gasket is dripping oil, not a substantial amount at all but worth mentioning, only a half quart of oil is needed between oil changes
- The bolt for the oil pan itself is over-sized, this is because of the previous owner taking the car to a Jiffy Lube
- Windshield has a crack
- Driver side seat bolster is a bit torn, nothing any upholstery shop couldn't handle with ease
- Rust, which isn't as bad as I've seen a lot of CRX's
- I Daily this around so its just hit 210xxx
I've had the car for about a year now and it has never given me any issues, I would drive this across the country without hesitation, the 2 seat thing is just not ideal for my situation
ALSO, something worth mentioning is that the engine should only have around 100k on it, the previous owner stated that he never changed the timing belt on the stock engine and due to it being an interference motor, it seized up, unfortunately there is no proof of this but considering how well it runs I believed him
