How many of you guys going to this summer meet? Is this the first year they are having it in Sparta Kentucky? If so is it like the Nashville meet they had there?

Last year we setup an Auto-X course utilizing the pit lane and cutbacks.

was planning on going for 2 days, but then found out about gingerman MI WMHM event and i'd much rather be racing then showing...

Although, yes, you could race on a road course at WMHM... there is still racing available at IA. Its a higher speed autocross event.

wanted to set up canopy by the car & if that's typical.
I'm not a business or selling anything, just giving out free decals, & showcasing a few random stuff on a table for my sponsors.

Pop-up canopies are typical (5'x5', or so... not anything like a 10'x10'), but you won't really have the space to put out a table full of stuff. You're not going to be permitted to use any space besides the one your car is parked in, because you only paid for one spot as an attendee. People tend to put their pop-ups behind their cars, to sit around in the shade chatting with friends.

also if i trailer the car there, is there general place where everyone else parks their truck/trailer/flatbed/dolly?

Honestly, if your parked in the middle of nowhere in the grass/gravel/dirt/etc and away from the crowds, I doubt anybody will say anything to you. Lol
