Will HID kit in a brand new car void the warranty
My friend has a brand new Lexus ES 350 and wants to put in a PnP HID. Will this void the Lexus warranty?

lights won't affect any type of warranty unless if they caused the problem....most if not all stealerships try to find ways around warranty and make you pay for parts

It shouldn't unless is caused some sort of electronic interference by uwsing the cheap *** taiwanese made Ballasts ignitors...

aftermarket products failure rate is 40-50%. Good luck trying to get your stuff warranted by mentioning that.

That is an intersting statistic...too bad he wasn't asking about the failure rate of the aftermarket parts...He was curious if the dealerships could void his warranty by using the aftermarket parts.
And just out of curiousity that failure rate statistic, over wha time period does this failure rate allow and where did you get it???? I would be interested to read up on that.

check the variety of forums from nissan to Honda to toyota, etc. Hundreds of threads about flickering and ballast failure. Kits I had with failure had a startup of 17 amps.
