Putting HID's in a reflector housing weather its for headlights foglights or any other lighting is the worst thing you can do. this is the main reason y HID kits have been banned. if you do complete retrofit you shouldnt need to put HID's in your fogs.

Regardless of the question "why", does anyone know if a PNP kit will fit inside a 99-00 Civic Foglight?

Im putting some in my fogs, i already ordered them so i'll put up some pics of what they look like once they get in.

In regards to the OP, yes, HIDs will fit into your 99-00 foglight lenses fine, you just have to get the right size, which is H3.

Car is not mine, it is a customers. But we had installed our HIDs into his car for him.
Different style fog light than what was requested, but just showing that HIDs can go into fog light housings.
