If im doing a HID retrofit on my 93 del sol for example....do I need to use projectors from like a TSX, S2000, and BMWs? Can I use projectors from a different car....say like a 08 Toyota Camry? I say this because my girl drives an 08 Camry and the lines that her projector headlights throw out are pretty clean? Is this a possible swap?

you can use those projectors, but they're halogen projectors, so why waste your time with them. If you're going to do a retrofit, may as well do it right the first time and use some true HID projectors

+1. The only right way to do it is use HID projectors, ballasts, and bulbs. And get a wire harness that can withstand the extra start up load, that has a relay on it.

There are a *FEW* halogen projectors that will work well with HID, but not many. One example is Hella H7 projectors used on several Audi vehicles. These work well with D2S bulbs, and only need a simple aluminum adpater ring to make the bulb fit.

My mom also has an 07 Camry, but I'm not sure what bulbs it uses. Do you know? If they're not H7's, I'll go ahead and say that you don't even need to mess with them. Use real HID projectors.
