99-00 Civic OEM fog light retrofit?
Has anyone ever done this? Does anyone know anyone that knows anyone that knows someone that has? I can't find any information or pictures on this.
Originally, I was going to trade my bumper + fog lights for another bumper without fog lights since I don't use my fog lights anymore except as "DRL's"... But if I can pull off projectors, I may consider that route.
I was thinking about using these.... I'm just not sure what sort of modifications need to be made to the OEM housing.

Plus they have high beam capabilities so I'd technically have a quad bi-xenon setup .

I won't even touch the OEM Fogs. I would remove it and get sealed projector fogs like ES300, Fusion , or Blazer. Mount it in the existing slot and call it good. You could even get HID if you feel, but really fog is for cosmetic only.
Here is my old AV6 with Ford Fusion Fogs.

I have heard a lot of things about the ES300 and Fusion fogs. I just don't know whether or not I want to deal with finding out how to mount them lol. Like I said, I'm more of a plug and play kind of guy.
I would just like having bi-xenon fogs for the extra light at night. Lots of deer and trees along my daily commutes.
I've also considered putting a P&P kit in my fog lights and just using them as an "extra" high beam. I'm just worried about getting the ballasts wet since it'd be a cheap "chinese" kit.

You can retro fit them into the OE Civic Spot, just buy replica fog lights, take apart the housing and then add the projector. The method is the exact same as you would with doing headlights. I'll post some up after I finish my retrofit.
