Default 92 integra hid conversion

Okay i wanna install an hid kit on my da9 but ive read that the stock headlights will make the light scatter too much. Ive been reading that retrofitting or just getting new projectors headlights/jdm 1 peice are the best way to go. I wanna know if there is a way i can get a projector headlamp and either keep my 3 peice headlight covers or if i will need to find new covers? Are there any da9 headlight covers without the little things that make the light scatter? I wanna stay with the 3 peice if i can. Thanks

People have ground down flutes, molded new lenses, and done just about everything you can think of to get flute-less lenses. You'll have to get creative, search around on the net, and think outside the box.

If your running the USDM headlight housings on your DA.. You might actually be in luck now as current 2016 versions of LED headlight bulbs actually work well. They have proper Philips Z ES chipsets at right positions and elevations to provide usable light with out the random light scatter of a cheep HID bulb.

Take for example cn360's latest version (H4 in this case) though the make single beam versions for other bases.

JDMAstar has sets already imported in the states for $99 a pair.

Itll be kinda hard to grind down glass haha. So pretty much the best way to run 3 peice headlights with hids is to get flute-less lenses. I just like how the 3 peice look and dont really wanna buy new one peice when i already have new 3s on the way

I'm sure it is, but people have done it successfully.
