*PLEASE VOTE* - Interest in a "Lighting" forum?
As the title states, I am attempting to gauge how much potential member interest and support there would be for a dedicate "Lighting" forum here on Honda-Tech. This would be a forum where technical lighting topics and discussions would be posted, including such things as high-performance bulb reviews and information, HID and HIR retrofit topics, wiring and installation issues, proper aiming, et cetera.

I say go for it! I would love to see some detailed DIY write-ups on retrofitting
That's just scratching the surface as you get into building wire harnesses and aiming lights, color mods, etc.....

I think it's a good idea in theory. As long as the form can be kept clean of any "hows do 1 wyre mah haloez" .... and is kept to a good technical discussion of bulbs, housings, HID, retrofitting, etc ... then it will succeed.

Re: (goota)
again as i said in my other post why do you need so many forums dedicated to a specific thing, then you have to many forums all split up and none of them get good traffic flow and as a result questions dont get answerd untill a longer time frame has passed, and the sysytem kinda defeats the purpose.
An Electrical section would satisfy the requirement of lighting, audio, alarm, and other issues as well

Re: (HondamanXxX)
I think it will only be successful, if you have a vast and detailed FAQ. So all beginners can reference it as to prevent the forum to be filled with garbage. Or else it will turn into a forum which starts off well but then all the knowledgable members will avoid the forum due to redundent questions.

Definitely, because most of Honda-tech only cares about styling not schematics, but that is due to ignorance not prefrence. Lighting forum will help out a lot
PS I too am ignorant with most light related topics.

Sounds like a good division/organization of auto genre, especially since lighting questions are posted up all the time. Also, it'll give me another place to direct people to who since post once again in the wrong sections.
for an organized Lighting Sections.
