Default k20A3 head quetions

ok I'm building a 2003 rsx base model k20a car for strictly track, car is gutted caged never road legal again,my question is if I install vtec killer cams and eliminate vtec solenoid and install heavier valve spring retainers, will this head flow same as a k20z motor? from my understanding the base k20 only operated vtec on one side and the k20z vtec was both intake and exhaust, thank you guys for any input

No. The castings are different. Pick up a crv head if you're doing killers. They're cheap.

Are you looking to run the car in a specific class or purely just for fun? If you do a VTEC killer on the A3 for cheap you can do Type S cams will get you near K20A/K20A2/K20Z1/K20Z3. The green line is K20Z1 with bolt on's and the red is K20A3 with Type S cams.

If you are willing to spend money on a cylinder head you can look into this advice!
