06+ k24a2 with K20 vts
I have a 2006 K24a2 all stock with kpro good header 2.5" exhaust and 9LBS flywheel and clutch I've been doing some research and they say to put RBC intake manifold and K20 intake cam gear for more cam angle the research I've done all of the info is from years ago I was wondering if anybody's done it recently.
Will a K20 intake cam gear work with still having good PTV Clarence and will a RBC intake manifold help overall or why lose too much low-end

If im not mistaken i believe the k24a2 already comes with a 50 degree vtc gear. So there would be no need to swap them out.....

The RBC intake is a direct bolt on for the k24a2. You should see some gains up top from the intake swap, yes you will loose a little down low but nothing major.

Hello boostedb16a,
The 50 degree cam actuator comes on the k20a2 and k20z3 engines. You can use it on your k24a2 with no problems. I have already done this in my thread. You can click on my k24a2 thread below to read all about how to swap it. The gains you will see are mid range gains. As for the intake manifold, it will give you more peak top end power, but you loose some of your mid range power. The tsx head has small intake ports and is designed for longer runners. The K20a2 and z3 have wider ports and are designed for a higher volume of air unlike the RBB manifold , which is more of a higher velocity manifold.

I have an effectively stk. K20a2 03 typeS with bolt on's. Intake, exhaust...I'm planning on putting in 07-08 TSX cams that I have. Running the 50* adv. gear. What do I need to worry about or do to make it all good?
