Since I bought this car the spedometer has had this problem where it starts to spike up and down once the engine gets warm. While the engine is cool the spedometer works great- it rises and falls normally as I accelerate and slow down. When the car is idling warm or cold the spedometer just sits there at 0.

1.) I first thought it was the VSS because when I pulled the old one the mount was broken, but putting in the new one didnt solve anything

2.) I next looked into the console, I resoldered all the leads and connections on the back of the speedometer and dash. No luck.

Any advice?
