Greetings from the Pacific NW
Hey guys,
I just picked up my second honda after 5 years of being in the Subaru community, and to make a long story short while I rebuild my wagon I was picking up a DD in meantime, but I got caught up with this 99 Civic DX with a b20b Swap. I have owned it for a month today and its been a wild ride already.
First night I picked it up everything was great and I drove it around for about 50 miles. It got stuck in gear out downshifting of the highway. I was stuck for 5 hours and its so low the idiots didnt want to tow it without me signing a waiver (never sign one) after being threatened to having my car impounded we finally got it towed. I ended up buying a new b series hydro transmission the first week and had it installed. Turns out the shop that did the work prior to me owning it forgot to put fluid in after installing a new clutch kit..
So far ive had to get a new ECU spark plugs, wires, and still need new headers, intake, and emissions test. Im working on a build thread to post for everyone, I I want to get this car passed emissions and registered so I can slowly restore it day by day. I might want to do a type r clone depending on the circumstances but here are a few photos, and look out for my build thread!
