Icon5 Swap B20 block to B18b1 block: tune is necessary?

Good afternoon, this is my first time posting on this thread. I have a B20z2/B16a2 in my 97 ej8 civic. I want to swap the block with a brand new B18b1 that my friend is selling me cheap with GSR pistons and rods and arp rod bolts, balanced, etc. I am doing this because I also have a turbo kit and want to put it on with the b18b1/b16a2. So I want to put the B18b1 on now before I turbo it, because my cylinder 1 in the B20 has low compression and I don't want to drive the B20z2 block anymore, I don't want to screw it up.

Now if I swap the blocks (without putting the turbo kit on yet), will I have to re-tune it with the new b18b1 block? I just want to drive it soft and break it in, change the oil a few times, before I put the turbo kit on because I don't have all the money for extra parts I need to turbo it.

All I want to know is if it necessary to tune it after swapping the blocks or can I ride it like that for now without racing it. I am not a mechanic, nor have the knowledge of mechanics, I will have my mechanic swap it.

Thanks, I appreciate the help!

Yes, you will need to tune it. There are too many differences in what you had and what you intend to install.
