Default Oil Line for Ls/Vtec?? and some questions.

My friend needs some help, please help~!!

1) He got Ls/Vtec recently, GSR head on his stock bottom Ls block, He did not get an Oil Line... GSR Oil line or something, and he was wondering if that effect HP??

2)Also, he knows for sure that his VTEC is engaging at the expected points cuz he hears it engage... but he says he doesnt feel it.... like theres no pull or anyting... is there something wrong?? please help guys...

If he's got no oil feed line, he's got no VTEC. Plain and simple.

??? As far as I know, you can use either oil pump as they are both physically the same size and mount into the block. As for VTEC, if he's not feeling it, something 'aint right.

What ECU are you running? Also what year car is the motor in?

Are you sure its the Vtec kicking in or is it the IAB, if he is using the GSR intake manifold.

Well he is runnin the GSR ecu, he has a Knock Sensor installed so there is no CEL on, um. he says he is sure that he hears the VTEC engaging.. but no power felt. Is there any way to check if the Vtec is working?? Maybe an oil change will help?? any suggestions?? Thank you guys

o and what is ( IAB ),???? and The motor is installed in a 94 integra.

IAB is the secondary intake on the GSR's. At 5800(?), the butterflies open.
