Default oil control orifice ? whats is it ? do i need one ?

i have a b16 head and am going ls/vtec. when looking in the head a friend noticed that the oil control orifice was smissing. do i need it? what exactly does it do and where can i get one for cheap


the orifice is under the cam caps i think??

The oil supply hole needs to be blocked off and then an alternate external oil line ran from the block to the head when building an LSVTEC. You better do some research before attempting this build-up...
