I'm going to be swaping a Jdm d15b into my 95 ex coupe and I was just curious what parts (engine) are swapable between the two motors. Example: I'm gonna want want to replace the water pump and timing belt on the d15b before I put it in can I use the parts off of my d16z6? what about tune up parts (i.e cap plugs wires etc.)?

Any help is greatly appreciated...

The JDM D15B shares parts with OEM D16Z6 (Si/EX) and the D15Z1 (VX). Do some searches and I'm sure you'll find parts compatibility lists for everything you will need to know.

water pump its p08 (vx engine)
timing belt p08 (vx engine)

Just for a note my EX water pump fit the d15b but the timing belt did not. The VX timing belt must be used.

i did this swap recently, the cap and plug wires will fit.

I purchased a z6 timing belt. are you saying it wont fit? i need to get the d15z belt? i've herd those are too tight, or is that just for a mini-me swap. Let me know Thanks.
