Re: H2B / F2B FAQ
Damn, that's nutts! I must've gotten lucky when I ordered mine, because there was zero wait. I paid Seth, and had a tracking number the same day.
Either way though, it's worth the wait!

Re: H2B / F2B FAQ
I currently have a "traditional" H22 swap (DC2) and was wondering if I could go H2B? I ask because the current Hasport mounts i have required the removal of the original passenger side mount bracket. Would I have to remove the Hasport mount and re-weld an original mount bracket on?

Re: H2B / F2B FAQ
I have an F20B and I'm building an F2B swap, since I'll be using a B series OBD1 harness and my stock intake manifold, how do I wire the 2 wire engine harness to the 3 wire IACV? and if I get an aftermarket manifold like Skunk2 would this solve the problem? I know that solves the IAB (secondary butterflies) problem

Re: H2B / F2B FAQ
Hi, new to the forum scene, is it okay to ask questions on this thread? As im doing a hswap into my 1999 honda civic jordan (b16a2 obd2b) and was wondering if i can still use my same mounts? As im running inotave billet mounts.
I am also a bit confused about the wiring, and a few other bits, any help appreciated!😊

The clutch slave cylinder is hindering the install of my scatter shield.

Re: H2B / F2B FAQ
Do you have a QSD kit? Do you have the instructions? The bolts mounting the trans to the plate have double washers which can be removed to install the shield.

It's been almost nine years since I created this thread... What's the cheapest kid available now? Not interested in plateless h2b

Re: H2B / F2B FAQ
This was in another thread as well.
I was worried with the extreme angle of the water neck, that I was gonna have problem with finding the right hose. It wasn't bad at all, a little trimming on both ends, and those hose fits perfectly, no kinks at all. Now just gotta grab some OEM Honda coolant, and an overflow tank and I'm set.
@1991_crxsi and anyone else looking for correct hoses for h2b swap into ef, this is tried and true. Upper hose: Gates 21763 trim to fit, lower hose: 22921 direct fit. No kinks, fits perfectly over h22 water necks. This way, QSD gooseneck not required, and retain OEM water neck and no leakage problems.

Re: H2B / F2B FAQ
the Brough Performance kit looks promising... but i'd really like to see reviews if anyone has ever used them on an EF chassis.. Im considering buying their kit for my Crx H2B swap (wanna change from B for now).
any info guys if their plateless swap kits are reliable for street racing/track abuse ?
how about the K series PRB/PRC manifold on the H engines for firewall clearance? any reviews?

I believe in the kit, it just wish I could see a write up on how it was done in our chassis.

Re: H2B / F2B FAQ
This build is way too popular for all this guesswork.
Is there a link with a complete "parts list" for each chassis?
I swear if I have time, I'm going to do a write up soon.

Re: H2B / F2B FAQ
This swap has come a long way. I have emails in my old *** yahoo account from nearly 10 years ago when QSD and some of the other people 'pioneered' this setup.
Since then the setup has gone from costing about $1500 for the kit to about $500. And now it's even cheaper with the plateless setups. The parts list is dependent upon whatever kit you use.
All you really need to do is this
* your choice of whatever engine/trans adapter plate
* halfshaft adapter plate
* grind block
* custom bracket for the "timing belt" mount on the Left hand side (driver's side for US folk)
* alternator bracket (this dictates which belt you use)
And if you're trying to move the pulley to the engine even closer, use the mcmaster-carr part number that i mentioned for that spacer.

Re: H2B / F2B FAQ
Thanks Bense. All the information is useful and the swap has come a long way. I guess I'm speaking more for EF guys who are running the Brough Kit. I'm trying to see if a aftermarket crossmember/ traction bar is necessary, if I need a alternator relocation kit, and if there is any grinding.
The Brough Kit claims no grinding minus axel boot clearance. I'm hoping my engine can fit ac. This is how the motor sits with this kit
