h23 motor in a crv with h2b adapter using awd, info needed??
hey guys, ive been seriously considering this because i love my crv and i want to use it to tow my integra racecar with a tow dolly. i dont have to tow far with it. i would like to use a h23 longblock, the h2b adapter and the crv auto awd transmission. does anyone know if this could work? what axles would i use? has anyone done this? any info at all would be appreciated.

im sure you would use stock axles, and everything b series with the expception of h series longblock and the adapter kit...i would seriously like to see this im sure there would to be some kind off fabbing required, but it's deff. possible with the right amount of time.

does the crv have a half shaft? thats the only concern along with framerail clearance. h2b cars use b-series half shafts with b-series axles and gsr motor mounts all the way around.
edit:beat me to it

which will suck..., but the end product sure would be fun...did crv's ever come 5 speed?

I thought of this swap for my '88 crx, a cRx with a H22A AwD 5spD would be sick, but the rear end is just too weak for my taste!

they come in 5speed. i think i could do it if i ever did a h2b swap but i dont have any experience with it. i dont know how it works and i dont have a ton of time for the car to be out of commision. it sure would be an awesome tow vehicle. im not concerned about how fast it is. i just want to keep my car and be able to use it to tow
