Default h22a engine codes

SO I dropped an h22a into my 99 accord. Great combination. Now I have an OBD1 ecu in an OBD2 car. I hooked my scan tool up and obviously I got squat but a linking error in the scanner. So my question is, how do I check my engine codes?

There are no blinks. It's a steady light.

Enigine lights don't blink. They are steady until you make the connection to make it blink the trouble codes. This is what I am trying to figure out. If you have a trouble code, the light isn't going to blink that code number all the time just because there's a code. The engine light is on when a code exists, I need to make it blink to figure out what the codes are.

Try reading this. If you don't know how to pull the codes than I think this will help you.

I already knew the wire jump trick and counting codes. What I couldn't find was where the connector was located, and the wire colors etc. That was the info I was looking for, thanks much.

Thats what I thought. I looked behind the kick panel on pass side and didnt see the one the other post said. The blue wire I have found, but the CEL doesnt do anything when I jump them.
