I'm using the p2p ecu and the auto trans 1999 Dx. Skunk2 manifold uses 2 pin iacv, getting cel for iacv. Has anyone used auto trans on vtec upgrade?

Are you still using the throttle body with a three wire IACV?

No, using a Skunk2 intake manifold with two wire iacv. Converted wiring done . Car has no fast idle at start up, seems to settle down as it warms up. Idle screw on Skunk2 throttle body has no effect on idle speed. Idle speed is 550-600 rpm.

Just to confirm you have an auto with auto ECU? If so you can't use a two wire IACV

Is that because there is no connection from ecu to B23? Trans is computer controlled so I can't use a manual ecu right?

I bought a 98 harness and ecu thru ebay. after installing it i found out that I harness and ecu shipped to me was 99-00. I put a 99 dizzy, got 2 sensor, one I put on my catalytic converter and I other one I have anything to put it on. the harness doesnt have connection to the charcoal canister. will it pass the smog without this 2 connection? any other problem you can think of?

thanks

Looking for some help or advice

I have a 96 Ek hatch
b18c JDM from a 97 JDM GSR
P72 JDM ecu
just got a harness from 96 ex 5spd US

I noticed off the bat that the TPS connector is different on the ex harness, which I have not seen mentioned anywhere on this thread. Any mods that will need to be done besides swapped tps connectors?

also wondering if I'll run into any issues with ckp, code 91, or anything else using a p72 jdm ecu that came with my motor. I see everything is "if US ecu is used...." But nothing about a JDM ecu.

thanks in advance!

I’ve read through this entire thread and didn’t see my exact question answered but if it has, I apologize. I’m using a D16Z6 from a 94 ex, wiring from my 96 CX, obd2a to obd1 adapter plug to p28 ecu, adapter to z6 dizzy, did 2 wire aicv plug conversion on wiring at intake. Do I need to also change the wiring at the plug moving A14 to A12 or does that only pertain to a mini me swap? Thank you in advance!

Hi, Im putting a b18b1 from a 97 integra into my 00 civic hatch (dx). So I am plannign to use the wiring harness from my civic and the OBD2a p75 ecu from the integra. I purchased an adapter for the distributor. If I buy an adapter for the obd2b wiring harness to the obd2a p75 ecu from the integra should I be all good to go? Is there anything else that needs fixing? also how hard would it be to wire this myself as opposed to buying a jumper harness.

So let me ask this. Do I need to do the bypass if my harness has the cpk sensor plug and my motor is obd1? My distributor is also obd1. So it should have the cpk within. Correct me if I’m wrong now. Also my car cranks but doesn’t spark. I’ll reply with all my diagnostics after response back.

The "CKP" sensor is always found inside the distributor for "B" series engines... OBD-0, OBD-1 and OBD-2A/B. What you are referring to is the "CKF" sensor found on the oil pump housing... this is the "Crank Fluctuation Sensor" and it is only found on OBD-2A/B systems. IF you are using an OBD-1 ECU, it doesn't recognize the CKF sensor... which means that you can ignore it. The only reason anyone uses the CKF bypass is if they are trying to use an OBD-2 ECU... likely for passing BAR or Emissions.
