I just changed my timing belt, belt tensioner, and water pump on my F20B. So I thought I would give some information on it to possibly help other people out.

I was told that you can use the H22 timing belt and water pump with the H23 belt tensioner conversion. But the H22 belt is hard to get on and the H23 belt tensioner conversion is complicated.

What I did was get an H22 water pump and then pull the gear off and put the gear from the F20B water pump on it. Worked out great. Then I got a manual belt tensioner from bisimoto.com (http://bisimoto.com/store/index.php?...roducts_id=645) instead of the H23 conversion. It was much simpler (just two bolts). Then I got an actual F20B timing belt.

Hopefully that helps someone out.

wouldnt it have been easier to just get the kaizen speed manual tensioner thats the route i went with oem f20b timing belt and p13 water pump

I am not sure. I didn't look into that route at all. But the way that I did it was simple and didn't take long, once I had the parts. But if that way works then cool. I am mostly trying to inform people of an easier way to do it than the H23 manual tensioner conversion.

That's where I got mine as well. The F20B belt is narrower than the H22 belt. Same amount of teeth. 155 teeth.
