For the swap, do you have to do any cutting and rewelding for the mounts ?
my son has a 93 civic lx 1.5 and he just picked up a 94 integra ls for $300, running and he want me to swap the motor and trans. me being a mechanic by trade but have never done any of the swapping, so any info is helpful.

no you do not, use the mounts from the integra

@ wrench69
92-95 civics and 94-01 integras share same chassis/engine bay.
To swap that integra motor into the 93 civic just take the entire swap including axles, motor mounts, ecu, harness and just swap it into civic..everything will plug anbd play and every mount will line up and work..You can swap whole front and rear brakes, spring and shock suspension..Almost evrythings is interchangeable between 92-95 civics and all integras

if your doing the b18b swap and u have an automatic civic that you want to make manual you dont need to do any cutting or welding you can get a conversion mount for the tranny site from anywhere online.

Re: b18b swap into 92-95 civic
Currently me and my father are trying to put a 94 B18B1 OBD1 motor into my 95 ex coupe and everything is mounted in. However the Axles aren’t aligning the right way. Does anyone know why that could be??
