nice full write up . its been very hard to find a d to b swap with auto to manual and on top of that with a cable type trans instead of a hydro. im in mid process myself on it. im on hold atm from innovative mounts i believe they sent me the wrong trans mount since its 2 inches off. think i was sent the manual frame mount and waiting for confirmation.
since you sold your car did you buy another honda to plan on doing work to?

ya... i picked up a 92' 4Door ex... i built a Z6 for it and stuck a y8 head on it... it just has bolt ons right now, Skunk2 intake, AEM fuel rail and cam gear, FPR and basic intake and exhaust... i still need to get her tuned and do a 5speed swap, then she will be good to go
I also got a 96' Accord wagon... i'm in the middle of painting her Mediterranean blue right now... she should be sexy when i'm done...
when i did the swap i couldnt find any info, at least, no info for the stuff that really mattered...

I noticed your hasport mounts. On the transmission side it bolted onto the chassis. What did you bolt onto the transmission in order to bolt the transmission in the chassis?

if i remember right, the HASport mount kit came with a plate that i bolted on the trany, then the mount bolted to that...

so i did the 5Speed swap in the 92, then shortly after (a few months) it got totaled sitting in the parking lot of a restaurant... me and my buddy was enjoying some sushi when it got hit... after insurance and everything i ended up buying it back and parted it out and made close to $3,500, so i bought a 03' TL type S... so far i've been real happy with it...
