So, my friend and i are installing a 98 EX ehaust manifold and cat on his 98 DX tommarow and i was wondering what the best way would be to deal with the issue of the new cat/O2 location?? Thanks, any help on a EX intake manifold install on a d16y7 also?? Thanks, Greg

extend your o2 sensor wires and use the EX bpipe and rear muffler.

you don't the ex muffler, just the midpipe. why even bother with it though, it'll give him like .1 hp.

whaa? I used a ex header but,, well make sure you run the wires for the 0'2 or you will hate life, also the mid pipe and donut gasket. Problably like 2 or 3 horses. Thats a lot of work when you can get a header for 2 bones. HP racing, really good header for the sohc motor.

Well he didnt say what he was using for the cat back part of the car. My 97 has a similiar setup only that it has an SI rear muffler, same as EX hehe. He can get any of the aftermarket cat back systems to use.
