So all you did was ground the pink wire and the cruise control worked? Ill update the cruise section if thats correct.

YOu say you have to swap intake manifolds but you dont say "WHY". I am confused about this part. I NEED HELPS!!! this is the only part of the swap I do not understand

If your going to use a jumper harness then do the 2 wire the same as you would and your set. If your going to run an obd1 harness and convert everything then you have nothing to worry about as its already wired.

If you look on the back of the auto intake manifold you will see that theres no holes for the IAC to work. Because of that you need a new intake manifold or drill out the holes to allow it to work.

Couple questions:
1. So all the rewiring (aside from the IACV and repin) is done on wires you can access by removing your center console? I don't have to go under the dash for any of this, right?
2. There's already a hole for my shift linkage to go through my firewall? Or do I have to punch it out?
3. That wind plate in the way... that wouldn't happen to be where your o2 sensor goes through to your cat sensor is it?

So what exactly is IAC? some type of valve? So when I swap the manual Intake Manifold in I just put it in like i took the auto one out? Hook everything back up and I am done? Is there any other modification or anything? He said that that intake was the easiest part.. so i am just guessing you just take the auto one off and put the manual one on? and rewire the B connector?

1. Yes its already in the center counsole, its there because of the auto shifter. When you take off the auto shifter youll see it there.
2. What do you mean holes for your shift linkage through the firewall? The only thing for shifting that goes through the firewall (on a simple auto to manual, not H, F, K swaps) is the master cylinder in which case theres a little garmet thats there, remove the garmet and you got your area.
3. Your o2 sensor is about 3 inchs towards the motor, it is not in the way.

IACV (IAC for short) is the Idle Air Control Valve, and yes swapping out the intake manifold makes it alot easier but not needed. To let you know that intake manifold SHOULD come off for this but if you pulled the motor you could be able to get a drill and take out those holes. I dont really recommend it but you can. Now are you doing a 96-00 swap or a 92-95 because if your doing a 92-95 you dont have to do that for the intake, because auto and manual both have the 2wire IAC. If your doing a 96-00 then you have to replace the throttle body because it has the 3 wire IAC on it. Im pretty sure you could block it off but i dont know enough of it to work. But yes all you have to do is swap to a manual manifold and rewire both the ecu connector and the plug for the sensor.

how does your shift linkage get from the engine to the center console then?
Yes it's a noob question but I've never owned a manual before I know the master cylinder part, but I don't understand how your linkage gets from your transmission to the center console.

So is it possible to just keep the auto intake and still rewire the Bconnector to 2-wire? i dont know i am still kinda confused... but thanks for trying to explain it.

Re: (hypnotiqcivic99)
If you do youll need an ecu that could control the IAC in a open loop envirorment. Something like S300, Crome pro or higher up systems. If you do it like this you wont have a code but youll have a bad idle at warm up.

You know how you must bolt the head down in a certain order and the intake manifold in a certain order and the flywheel down in a certain order?? Well what about the pressure plate??
