Had a question about my dizzy wiring( ive been tailoring & tucking the engine harness)
I have a 99ek with d16y8 harness & obd1 Jdm H22a motor. can the obd1 h dizzy plug into the obd2 harness with repinning?
reason i ask is because im buying a new jdm dizzy & my plug was cutoff the first one so i wanna keep it clean without the splices & stuff
any ideas? thanks

I didnt want to make a whole other thread so ill ask here. I have an ek with an h22 swap and want to get an intake. Ive read that any 3" 92-00 civic short ram will work but if i want to go CAI what fits it? I remember seeing someone mention gsr for the fitting but cant seem to find much so what is everyone else running for intakes?

im having a problem with my shifter cables in my 97 ek sedan with an h22a..that i didnt do the swap..sorry i know this isnt probly the right place to ask but im goin to anyway...my shifter cable broke yesterday, and i heard that you use accord or prelude shifter assembly with cables..well i picked up a set of accord cables and they are too short..prelude look the same as the accord do..and both of those dont look like the cables that are in my car lol...the cables in my car have adjustable ends at the shifter assembly and both cables are held with cotter pins...DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE CABLES IN MY CAR CAME OUT OF?? I NEED HELP!!

I am trying to put h22a4 was told it will be easier to run it of a p28 but that is obd1 and my 99 Ek is obd2 is there a harness I bug for this or make it out of my Ek

Hey, trying to help my cousin here in Tobago get a civic he had parked up for a few years back in action. It's a Ek3 with a H22A swap originally purchased from someone else. However the job was quite rough to say the least and the wiring etc has been a nightmare with frayed/ disintegrating wires, missing components, fabrications that didn't allow for installing other things, etc. But the big issue right now is the vacuum lines: I have no idea what to do despite having the guide.
Problem is, that not all the components are there.
As you can see, LOTS of stuff missing etc. I want to have the car running properly but dunno what vacuum lines need to be connected where or simply blocked off.
Here a diagram of how it is presently:
And as it is in car
The car is idling quite high of course but can't figure where those open hoses go and even where to start as I have never dealt with hondas...
Can anyone give me some help on this?

Can someone point me in the right direction for h22a into 99 ek hatch dx wiring/swap info,i have the h in 95 si eg hatch with a p28 ecu that i want in the 99, mainly concerned with the wiring.

Your picture looks more like an obd0 accord style vac routing. If your wiring is falling apart, it probably is more than 20yrs old. OBD1 and OBD2 don't have a lot of those components. It will depend highly on the ECU (computer) used to determine what you need and what you don't.
FYI If you have any open hose or port after the throttle body, it must be sealed or a high or irratic idle will result.

i have a question has anybody successfully barred a jdm H22A in northern california ? and if so whats the best ref station to go to cause i have a 94 ex H22 swap and it needs reff'd and ive searched online and havent found anything on it .

Looking for someone that has done a Euro R h22 swap into and EK chassis. I am specifically looking for wiring diagrams for the euro ecu. Is it possible to run the stock ecu? Im not afraid of tearing the entire harness apart and extending whats needed to do it.

i know this is for eg/ek but im doing a jdm h23a to my ef hatch im converting to obd1 and im plaining to use the stock dizzy it came with but im not sure how to wire it up for obd1 can somebody help me?

Hi guys I have a f20b in a 96 ek and for some reason it has has the check engine light on and hasn't hit VTec from the day we did the swap a week ago !!! I need help please !!

What up Honda-Tech I've got an eg SI with a jdm H22 it seem to run and drive fine at normal driving but when you get on the gas and it starts getting near red line it instantly just starts cutting out/bogging down and won't let me accelerate after that till I shut it off for Amin and then fire it back up....... Has anyone had this problem or know what it would be??

ok guys i have a question im putting f20b in my 92 eg hatch but im thinking about getting a obd1 to obd2b ecu jumper harness so i dont have to splice all the wires but the jumper harness says that there might be wire that need to be add to make it work right does anybody know what those wires are?

So im doing an h22a into my 00 civic. I wanna keep power steering and read the only thing I have to do is have a custom line made. But I ran into some other issues.
As you can see I have no room to run the bracket/ ps reservoir. Also the headlight would be in the way to run a hose from the pump to the reservoir.

guys i am in need of some help with my conversion in a DelSol SiR, we have completed a H2B swap using a 92 JDM H22A and EK9 S4C LSD box, we have used the resistor box mode etc and completed the EGR delete, coolant bypass, and vacuum bypass and use the JDM P13 ECU.
the issue we have is the car is misfiring like crazy under load?? idle is fine as soon as you add load i.e. move we have hesitation loss in power and a load of bangs and pops from the exhaust????
has anyone had this and know a cure???
the engine was part built when we got it so there was no dizzy set point marks to mark up to and we put a new timing belt on and made sure that side was all done and correct, one other issue is how do you set the timing on a H2B as the timing marks have gone as we haven't used the H series box and flywheel and we have the H series engine/crant which do not have the marks like the b-series?
Regardless of the above we should not be seeing the issues we have, the misfire is across all 4 cylinders at the exact same time, fuel is set within the correct levels. we had a mobile tuner come and plug the car up and retrieve the codes and set the timing in real time from his device. one issue we had was the timing was out at 30 and once warm we could just get it with the 15 +/- 2 and we set the dizzy but it was full retarded? we left the car hooked up and took it for a drive and as soon as we add load the timing we down to 0 and even -4???
so were are lost....
could i have your suggestions on what to check and on what we think we should be checking tomorrow please:
check the knock sensor to see if that could be malfunctioning, only way i can think of doing this is to disconnect it and run the car and see if the misfire stops
check the ignition coil in the dizzy
check the ecu for damage
check we have all the correct connections in the correct sensors
if anyone can help shed any light it would be appreciated!!
