Sounds like theres a possibility that your front lower control arm might be bent how is your alignment? I had an issue where mine was bent and my axle was rubbing my wishbone part of the suspension. I know that LSD makes a difference in axle length also just not sure which side, did you specify that to DSS? Is your car lowered? and have you changed the ride height just to see if there was any change? I know all this stuff sounds simple and dumb but gotta make sure all the bases are covered though.

Thanks alot for this info man, it's really helped me. I was wondering if you mighthave a good source for vacuum lines and radiators hoses. I want them in blue because my rail and for are blue. also I'm looking for a good vacuum diagram for this swap, I don't have to pass emissions and it's a 92-95 motor so anything I can eliminate I would like to, thanks your help or anyone else that could help.
you can get rid of pretty much everything EGR you can even get you a block off plate for the EGR

here is an update to my issue, i tried using the teg axle but it was too long for it and couldnt install it i will get 86-89 axle and see, now i tried to put back the first axle that i got from dss and replaced the inner cv to prelude oem joint guess what the binding stopped!! but there was a little vibration and if i turn left aggressively i could hear the binding so i guess its sure thing it is something wrong with the axle it self, i will send it back to dss and let them check it for me

Ok I got a little problem I got a 00 civic with a h22 swap runnins the cable trans well I think the old owner put a different intermediate shaft when I got the car the axels where cut and welded together it broke apperentely but now I put a Gsr Axel and it's making a rubbing noise I think it's hiring the strut for oh and it's the driver side only wat can I do to stop this? Also is it just better to trade the h22 for a b18c swap?

Your cables could be bad yes, both the prelude style cables will work wether you have the 92-95 or the newer model, you just need the same shift bracket assembly. The older ones were steel, the new ones are like a plastic fiberglass, no matter what bracket and cable set up you go with your going to need to drill holes and mount it to the floor, or weld it to the floor. As for the fire wall and the lines going through and going to the the tranny, I cut a small slit about 4 inches wide, "----" and 2.5-3 inchs tall " l " then folded it down like a flap. Do this directly behind the shifter behind the sterio and underneath the duc work. Remember to measure and make it as straight as possible, these h22 linkages dont like to be at crazy angles. That could be your problem in the firstplace. If you want to get real fancy, you can mount the shift basket under the car and have the cables almost completly straight. It takes a little bit more fabrication and custom spacers and bolts, washers, exc, but thats all material than can be found at Rockys. Thats what I did with mine. Good luck

hey everyone
i got a 96prelude with a jdm h22a and a p28 but i didn't do the swap
but im putting a euro r into a eg hatch as soon as i understand the wiring
so im basically using the prelude as a parts car for the swap and im wondering if i can just use the harness and ecu from my prelude, and all that i would have to do as of wiring, and what would just plug in.

i know this a civic thread but ive got a 97 teg that im dropping a 97 h22 into. however im having trouble wiring up the rest of the car. im trying to use the obd2a harness to wire the dash and the rest of the car or make a custom one combining the orginal harness from the teg and the prelude to make a custom? does any1 have the color codes to cut n splice everythingor a diagram?also is it possible the rad from the teg will fit with the fan from the lude?
