I don't get how h2b isn't more popular, k is too spendy and B is old news, h2b best bang for the buck yet only a small group of people have it

i couldnt agree with you more on that! 2200+ for a just a B series vtec motor vs 5/700 for H/F series motor with more torque, seems like a no brainer.. oh well, H2B: the worlds best kept secret. haha

for me. i never thought of doing h2b because i always had the impression that the H series motor is just way too heavy but after doing all my research, it isnt that much heavier than a full turbo B series. so i said **** it.
k series power for a 3rd of the price AND having a unique swap like my F2B is great. noone knows what it is hehe.
the other night i was at in n out eating in my car and a older gentleman walked up to my window and told me my hood was broken, i said no my motor is just too big *evil grin* and explained to him. he thought it was cool.

YA BOY! got my H2B started, tuned and ready to be pick up next week! I went to the shop Tuesday and my man allow to start it up! SOUNDS SO BEASTIE! I got the butterfly, no homo. I couldnt believe its my car lol. Its crazy I never thought I would pull this thru. So much time and $$$ into something you enjoy and have pride for but nothing happens over night. Im glad to be having this car done and start up right. All I need now is stocks and coilovers and mainly just everything to do with the riding. lower control arms, rear sub frame, toe tie and maybe cambers ects.....I cant wait to get some deep dish! I might just tell my man to fender roll my fenders for dirt cheap. Will keep you guys updated once its done. All my cousin's friends be thinking it just an H22 swap. I dont wanna get into details and split their head LOL.

guys, i need help!! my car just came back from drag.. i am having this problem now the engine shaking really bad at idle and shudder between 2000rpm-3000rpm.. above that rpm the engine shudder goes away but it doesnt sound like normal, it sounds like vtec isn't working when it goes above 5000 rpm.
i m not sure if the problem was coming from launching, at the time my clutch pedal didn't come back up after burn out. the pedal was staying half way. I didn't have a choice i had to go when light showed green.. shift at 8000rpm after the run i noticed something was wrong, the engine started to shudder and shake.
i am trying to search for the problem, i just checked tps, vtec spool valve, map sensor.. everything seems alright. Could the clutch be the problem?? i am using act pressure plate and 6 puck clutch (no brand) got it from ebay... and fidanza flywheel..

Maybe the spacer bolts are backing out, drop the tranny.. is the clutch sprung? Check the pressure plate also

A B-series can be done with all OEM parts and the truth is most people can't make stuff work unless it's a connect-the-dots build. I was at a dyno day show with 200+ Honda's and didn't see a single H2B or F2B besides mine. There were 1-2 full H-swaps and maybe a half-dozen H-series Preludes.

In a likely scenario, no you don't need to replace them.

Re: **Official H2B Discussion thread **
If I have ESP mounts in my crx for my h22. I bought another crx shell and I'm waiting on my new ESP mounts to transfer the swap from old to new. When I buy the QSD kit, hopefully down the road, will I have to do any major mods to the ESP mounts to install the H2B kit? I dont want to get the passenger side welded in all nice, then to just to have to remove it later? I guess I'll have to if I need to because I just dont have the funds to go out and buy the QSD kit and a B tranny at the moment.
Thanks
Thanks
I'm really 2slow
