I'm using the evo kit. So I'm putting my h2b into an 94 EG, Had a d15B in it with an internal coil distributor... I have two distributors for my h22a... internal and external, do I need to run the internal distributor because I orignally ran an internal with the old motor?

Thats weird. I don't recall there ever being one there .

I have the one that goes on behind the timing gear. I don't think theres supposed to be one in front. But then again, maybe something should be there since the balance shaft pulley isn't there anymore.

I'm not exactly sure how everything is setup once you move the crank pulley over 1/2" since I just took my belt off and left everything factory but if you look at this pic it looks like they have a little piece keeping the T-belt from walking on the crank gear (wouldn't this defeat the purpose of trying to move everything over 1/2"?) anyway, just something I noticed when looking through the pics on the QSD site.

That looks like the spacer that's supposed to be on the otherwise of the crank pulley. If I put my spacer like that. My pulley would rest on the framerail. I suppose I could just get another washer like the one on the rear end put it on the front.

yes, that spacer behind the crank should go on the other side of the crank pulley. If it does not fit you need to modify it or make one out of the balance shaft gear. Also make sure you get another one of those thin washers that go behind the crank pulley to keep your timing belt aligned and from trying to slip off onto your crank pulley.

question guys: whos left on this site who is a reliable source for a chipped p72 with a p13 base map?

also if i run an obd1 p72 that is chipped do i need to run Peak & Hold injectors with resistance box or can i just use obd2 h22 saturated injectors with the obd1 72 without any resisters or issues?

Depends what injectors you run, so if you run the peak and holds you will need one, or you can just use the saturated ones without a resistor box

that is not dependent though on the type of ecu though right?

No it's not. All depends on type of injector you run if you're gonna need a resistor box or not. I have obd1 345's and resistor box if anyones interested.

2 quick questions for those h2b setups out there...

my setup:
93 civic hatch si
H22a euro r
ITR trans
Evolution Ind. h2b kit
Exedy stage 1
h2b header from logic motorsports

My plan is too bolt on header and intake, tune and close the hood. Will be used for a dd around town.

Any suggestions on running a manual tensioner?
Reading info on threads, my main concern is ground clearance(oil pan), any suggestions?

All input is welcome and thanks in advance. Thread has alot of info to read thru.

Converting to manual tensioner is the first thing you should do.

I don't see a problem doing that on an h2b setup. There's way more clearance back there than straight h. I can change my filter from the top now lol
