Young boy: "Do not try to get the specs. That's impossible. Instead, only try to realize the truth."
Neo: "The truth?"
Young boy: "There are no specs."

Realistically, there are no specs. As much as I'd love to believe we're going to get a V8, I simply don't think it's going to happen, especially now that BMW has released a 333hp 3.0L 6-cyl. Honda cannot be out-done, and they won't want to go with the extra weight and fuel consumption of a large V8. I tend to believe 3.xL V6 with 3xx hp is far more likely.

Honda is very good at keeping the information to themselves until they're ready to release it. Right now there are lots of rumors flying, with some of them contradicting each other. Don't believe anything you hear until you see official announcements from the company.

Actually I think I was just stated that the new NSX will have a 3.5liter V-6 producing 350hp.

i heard from an automag, that the new nsx will not be made of aluminum anymore. It will be made of steel, body that is, they also said that the engine will come from the V6 engine that is going to be used in the NEW RL (the old lexus LS400/benz look alike one). so most likely the engine won't be aluminum then, i think that sucks when companies do that. use one engine from an exisiting model and put it into another model, especially with the exotic NSX, it makes me feel cheated in a way! This makes sense for honda, this will save them money, while the price for a totally brand new generation of NSX will either be the same or cheaper as they are now, for consumers!

Don't worry about it. It might be true, and it might not be true.
