Default Headlamp adjustability

I was recently involved in a little fender bender and opted to replace my headlamps with the JDM pieces. I was "told" that there maybe some issues of my light blinding oncoming drivers since they obviously drive on the opposite side. I was also "told" that there is no adjustment that can be made to compensate for the difference. Is some one pulling my leg? I thought ALL headlights were able to be adjusted. Someone please shed some light on this.

Cliff notes: Can adjustments be made to the JDM headlamps?

There is an adjustment **** on all OEM S2000 headlights that I've seen. Its a round gray **** with teeth and a bolt in the middle, located behind where the high beam would be.

If you really worried, have Honda adjust your headlights. One of your headlights is supposed to shine higher than other, I think the JDM version just reverses it.

Well, I just got them in no more than a ten minutes ago and my it's true. There is NO ADJUSTABILITY for the actual head lamp(HID) only the inner driving light. Makes no sense to me why they would'nt allow adjustments on this. Here is a pic....am I not seeing something correctly? Is there an adjustment?

Correct me, but I see two adjustment *****. Let me look at my Service Manual, and I'll get back to you. I adjusted the AP2 headlights on my AP1 with one of those.

Note: Those are ONLY for the inner lamp, to adjust up or down is one ****, and the other is to move it right to left....correct me if i'm wrong.

Yes those adjustment ***** move the HID diffusers inside of the projector to adjust your headlight cut off, according to the manual. As far as adjusting the WHOLE headlight, it doesn't show anything.

Honestly, Sidewayss2000, you took a big load off my shoulders. Thank you so much for some useful info.

EDIT: So will I be able to adjust the beam from not being in other drivers eyes...up and down? Just checking.

Yes you can adjust the beams. The top **** moves up and down, the lower one goes left and right. Here's the headlight adjustment procedure according to the manual:

Prep: Park on level surface, check tire pressures, driver or someone who weighs the same should sit in the driver's seat.

1) Park car 25 ft from wall.
2) Turn on low beams.
3) Measure height of headlight, from the ground to the aiming dot in the middle of the housing, infront of the HID.
4) Measure the cut-off height of the light beam at the wall. It should be 2" lower than the height of the headlight itself.

Good luck.
