is nobody using ID 725 injectors for s2000?
I'm just wondering why I'm having such hard time reselling the injectors.
I bought them for 360 plus shipping on ebay. they were used on a dyno and sent back to ID for cleaning and flow testing. one was replaced with brand new.( I actually called them to verify and sent them serial numbers)
I used them to test fit on a b series manifold(which they fit without spacers but with a 5mm taller rubber grommet.
and now been trying to sell them for like a year with no interest at all.
are they just not popular for s2000 or what?
I thought asking 350 for them was a fair price but...

You are essentially selling them for brand new money... and they are used. Saving ten bucks over a brand new set probably isn't very appealing to potential buyers. In my experience, used products from an individual (who isn't offering a warranty) usually only bring 60-70% of the current market price. Get your heart right and someone will pick them up from you.

I think many call that "Refurbished"... but I understand what you are thinking. "Used on the dyno" still means USED... not to mention, some might worry "why did he use them on the dyno and immediately take them out ???" I am just trying to help you sell them buddy. The more you drop the price from the "NEW" price, the greater chance you get them sold.

You're having a hard time selling because everyone prefers the ID1000's. If they decide to go for more power in the future that's one less thing they have to buy. Also, I bought my ID1000's for less than what you're asking.

they are hard to sell for 2 reason
1 The demand for an injector this size is very very low for the s2000. The only people that need aftermarket injectors are boosted s2000's. You typical boost s2000 running pump gas 91/93 octane will makes 400-500whp when these injectors your selling will barely support. They are too small to support e85. ID 1000's cost almost the same and support way more power.
2. Your asking for too much money.
but the issue is really number 1. No educated s2000 owner looking to boost his car would should buy anything smaller than id1000's.

im asking less than I paid for them they are not used. just test fitted...
an hour of use on a dyno and then sent to clean and flow test and packaged back up is not used.
but I see what you mean about too small I guess I better fit them back on b series lol
some people be like. well you opened the package and held it in your hand its used I want 200 dollars off...

Yeah 750cc is an odd size. Most FI S2000 guys prefer ID1000 MINIMUM up to ID2000. And built all motor is not popular in the s2000`s so that's what the ID750 is really for. So at the end of the day a lot of people arnt going to want to pay for an odd size injector unless its a smoking good deal. Just keep them imo... you`ll use em eventually
