Fender Louvers for S2000
I'm looking into adapting our fender louvers to work on the S2000, what do you think?... http://photos.yahoo.com/carguy1974 Is this a worthwhile project? They were originally designed to fit on the new Miata but with a little re-working they could work on the S2000 and other cars.
Thanks for your input!

I think they'd be better off staying on a Miata.
Just not my cup of tea, and I don't think the S community will like them, but who knows.

Would look mad phat on a triumph, but I don't think it fits the s2k so well. Gotta dig the visibility though

those aren't fender louvers, those are cheese graters. seriously.. they are. it will be putting one marque's ID badge on another brand. in this case, BMW's famed Z3/M3/Z8 graters on an S2000 - and that's just a big no no.
for real louvers, they would have to be up top, they would actually have function, which these do not and would not, unless you had them redirecting and disrupting the air coming out of the engine bay out the sides.

Oh my, I thought he was talking about the hardtop on the miata in the picture in the root of that link. I'm not into those little things on the fender at all
