Check Engine Light Re-Set
Hi, I am new to this forum and have a quick question if anyone can help. I just got a 2002 S2000 about 2 months ago, and last time I went to put in gas, I didn't put the cap on properlly and my check engine light came on. Now does anyone know how to turn it off, with out going to the dealer.
Thanks
Sil

Something like this:
Put the key in, hold the trip button down for like 15 seconds while the key is the ACC or on position(one of the two) Then start the car while still holding the trip button and wait for the light to turn off. I'm not sure if it's exactly like that, but search on S2ki.com if it doesn't work.

Do you know anything about your car? The radio code is in the glove box.

That is the procedure to turn the maint reqd. light off.

Re: dut (dut619)
or remove your kick panel on the driver side and remove the power connector harness to reset the ecu without losing your radio code. By pulling the fuse, you'll lose your radio code. (someone correct me if I'm wrong)

a lot of times they'll do that if it was just on due to a loose gas cap
