whistle/belt squeal on acceleration
Recently ive been getting this whistling sound with a belt squeal sound when i accelerate starting at about 2k to about 5k in all gears and it definitely matches how much i push in the pedal. It will only start to do it after about 5 minutes of driving it will not do it right away and i warm the car up every time before i drive. If i put the clutch in it goes away immediately and when i get on it hard i cant hear it. I went tho the muffler shop and they couldn't find any exhaust leak. Just had my timing belt done about a month ago and this started about a week or so ago. I have an aem intake and ive heard these can make that sound but it never did it before. It also sounds like its coming from the front driver side. Its not loud enough to hear it with the hood popped i can only hear it inside the cabin.
Thanks for any help !

Re: whistle/belt squeal on acceleration
So it goes away with the clutch pushed in, even if you are revving the engine to different speeds? I would say it is clutch related, probably throw-out bearing.

Re: whistle/belt squeal on acceleration
I just got all my timing components done so im leaning toward clutch. This didnt start happening until i noticed my motor/transmission is now sitting on the center beam under the car. It also feel like there is no space between the exhaust and the motor as well. Im pullin out motor mounts right now but the rear one has just a very minor tear.
