Weird Coolant Problems (hose and radiator exploded)
i have a 94 si prelude, I was driving down the road and the upper hose exploded i replaced the hose and then the next day the top of the radiator exploded. I have a new hose and radiator and now my heat isnt working is it possible that some large foreign object has found its way into the system and blocked something? my radiator seems to be functioning properly but once again my heat isnt working. I replaced the thermostat as well.

I would definitely check to make sure that nothing is blocking any hoses. One thing I did with my Accord to drain the old Fluid was to take the cap off the top and the bleed screw on the bottom off and ran the car while watching the heat to drain it. I would do that then see if you can find something inside the system. I would also check to make sure that it is circulating that way as well

Was the system bled properly? There could be a bubble keeping coolant from flowing to the core, you could have a bad water pump, could have a physical blockage somewhere in the system, etc.

this happened to my 240sx back in the day, my rad hose would get filled with pressure and it cracked my rad from it. It was a broken head gasket. Every time my engine would make compression, that compression would leak out of the head gasket and make pressure in my rad/cooling system.
