Re: Turbo help!!! (Apex1972)
he could just get those imitation sound affect thingamajigs. LOL I saw a vid of one the other day. IT WAS TOOOOO FUNNY. It sounded for real like it was turbo charged civic (sewing machine), but than it took off....very slowly.... very very slowly lol. Almost looked like it was in slow moting actually, come to think of it.
Seriously though for a higher reving motor you'd want a turbo that compliments your power band. You should talk to a local Tuner in your area and ask his opinions because if he can't tune it your turbo is going to make your car a big paperweight.
Also, put down a dollar amount of how much you have in your pockets to support your build. Generally money is the only factor when it comes to whats the best turbo. NOT always, but usually. Bargains are out there if you know where to look for them.

Re: Turbo help!!! (dagle)
Well I for one am not going to put you down for wanting one. I have a turbo on my 97'. I would read that link that Apex1972 gave you. From my exper. on put one on. You need to put down on paper how much you can spend and right out every little nix picken thing cause its going to be EXPENSIVE. Also if your not going to get a built motor (which you should but I didnt so can't call you on that) DON"T GO OVER 7 PSI. Some say you can put 8 psi but I've talked to a few honda technicians and they say 6.5 -7 psi on a stock engine. Another thing to do is LEARN about turbos and the difference on A/R , size , ect. On the side of buying a prepackage I would say the hell away from them (EBAY is a no no) plus you will be far happier with your setup if you piece it together. ALSO once you get it done get it tuned. thats my 2 cents good luck
