TEIN FLEX installation
I just ordered a set of tein flex coilovers for my '94 prelude vtec.
To anyone who has installed these before, are there any problems you ran into during the installation? Any pointers?
Thanks in advance.

What about the balljoints was the problem?
And do they ship with any sort of instructions, or do I have to swap them out per the FSM?

When you get them installed and run them for a while could you tell me if you have any problems with the suspension? A friend of mine got Tein Flex on his TSX and said they were crap because they made a rattleing/knocking sound on bumps. I was going to see if I could get his EDFC (i think its compatible with a 4th gen) and get the Flex for my self because I really like the idea of the EDFC, but I was worried about their being problems with the suspension. He said its just cheap suspension, but I thought the problem could be vehicle dependent.
So if you have any issues with the susepension like that please do post

Re: TEIN FLEX installation (h8trix)
I definitely will. Sounds like he didn't tighten everything back down when he put it on. I've never heard a single bad thing about the teins.

I had been to the shop previously, and they had always dealt with Tien suspensions, they use to swear by them. Well this time when I went in they no longer had any Tien products. I asked what was up with the switch, and they said for the past year or two the quality of the Tien components was going down hill, and it had gotten to the point where alot of customers were comming back with damaged or broken suspension parts, even without doing anything ridiculous with them, just the normal driving and alittle track time now and then. They have since switched to Tanabe and have been that way for about a year now without any complaints, and he also runs the system personally on his car. I suggest that you look into Tanabe as they are priced similarly and seem to have better build quality. just lookin out man </TD></TR></TABLE>
I typed that back in the day. Now you've heard something bad about them .
<---Jealous and spiteful cause I don't have the green for some real coilovers
