Stereo and Alarm Issue
Hi, I just joined and actually did on behalf of my 18 year old son who will greatly appreciate it if you all can help me solve his issue. He thought it would be a good idea to remove the factory stereo out of his 2001 Automatic Prelude and install an aftermarket.
Well now the car will not start due to what seems to be a security issue. We reinstalled the factory stereo and entered the radio security code but the car will not start. When he turns the car on the horn blows and light flash like it thinks it is being stolen. When we close the doors it does the same thing. He thinks mom can fix it all. (worked on American cars since I was 7 but all older models - no computers) Any suggestions on what the cause may be and how to fix it so I do not have to get him back and forth to work would be appreciated. I am afraid of what a garage would charge to look at an electrical issue.
BTW radio fuse was blown, replaced it no other fuses blown.
Thank you in advance.
