Rotor Rust/Paint
I just put new rotors on probably about 4 weeks ago. I noticed that they have become rusty everytime it rains since i bought them. They are blank Raybestos rotors. After i drive alittle bit the rust on the rotor surface comes off, but the rust stays on the hub. I have heard the only way to prevent this is to coat them with something to prevent the rust or paint the hub. What would be the best type of paint to do this?

there is no need to do this...they will rust, that is natural....brake pads are gonna do their best to wear off any coating they possibly can....
the only way to keep rotors from rusting would be to make them of stainless i guess....

Re: (mgags7)
I think hes talking about on the hub where the pad doesnt touch. I just think its unsightly to look and see all this rust. Wouldnt like caliper paint or any other high heat paint work?
