regular oil to synthetic?????
Is it safe to switch from regular oil to synthetic when i have a 100k miles on my car? If so do i need to reset my ecu when i switch the oils for better performance and how much performance gains should i expect by switching to synthetic.

its perfectly safe to switch, if ur car starts leaking oil its because u already had leaks and the synthetic has removed all of the crap blocking the leak that comes in regular oil, synthetic just exposes problems already there...it doesnt create any, u dont need to reset the ecu, and at the most u could see maybe 2whp but there are a lot of factors that go into seeing gains, at the least though u can feel better that u are using a higher quality oil in your engine

You could have saved a few keystrokes and simply said "yes".
