2001-2002 Sport Coupe Comparison Test

We created a list of sport coupes consumers usually cross-shop and ended up with six cars from America, Europe and Japan. These were the Acura RSX Type-S, Honda Prelude SH, Mercury Cougar V6, Mitsubishi Eclipse GT, Toyota Celica GT-S and Volkswagen GTI GLS 1.8T.

Thanks a lot! I read every one of those things....The lude is truely a drivers car through and through...
Only that damn celica can beat it in the corners cuz its so lightweight with the same damn tires, but lower profile.

I know this is a really old thread but atleast I serached. Ive been searching google and yahoo for about 2 hours already. Im trying to find a car and driver magazine article but having not luck. It was back in 1997 when Car and Driver said that the 1997 Honda Prelude Type SH was the best handling car for under $30,000 back in 1997, They did a handling comparison with the Supra TT, Corvette, a Ferrari, NSX, Viper, m3, boxer and some other sport cars but their where 9 cars total in this article. I found that magazine a year ago on the net and saved it, I think it was like 7-10 pages long, It was pretty interesting and the Prelude kept up to those cars in the corners. Even if you know the name of the magazine that would help.
