I been thinking that I heard little noises from the engine bay a few days ago but today it got really scary, there's a nasty winding noise (similar to the winding noise you hear when you reverse really fast) when i'm driving the tranny shifts into all gears fine but when im accelerating it makes a small low winding noise and then if i let off the gas while it is in gear it makes the higher pitched winding noise and if i let it roll in neutral it it still makes the noise just not so loud, and it doesnt stop until i park

i dont realy understand whats going on the tranny doesnt grind or have trouble going into any gear the car doesnt shake or anything but i can feel a small vibration on the gas peddle

the tranny is stock except for a quaife limited slip the cv joints are stock and as far as i know 1 has a ripped boot and i have i use redline fluid in the gear box and im sure its level but i need to check to make sure

im at work right now so if you have any ideas for when i get off ill realy appreciate it

its raining here so the only thing i have been able to check is if it makes the noise while the car is shut off and in neutral

and it doesnt sound good i pushed it while while its in neutral and as soon as i get it rolling you can hear a grinding noise only thing i can think of from that is the differential what do you guys think?

It sounds like your wheel bearing is wearing out. Get some new ones.
I had the same annoying noise. Now no more noise.
