This might be a very useless thread but I guess it's worth a shot. Does anyone have a pink OEM Honda key? I just bought a bb6 and the owner had a pink key... It was in a Honda box and so on, is this rare or am I crazy? Thing is I can't use it to start the car since it says it will make the master key inoperative if I try and use it, which is probably just because there is no chip in it.

The red key is for the immobilizer I think

It's for programing additional keys. DON'T TRY TO USE IT OR LOOSE IT.

x2 never use it but don't throw it out or it'll cost some serious $$$ to get new keys made

It used to be the only key you could use to make a new key was the red one. Then honda come up with a way to make duplicate keys from the black key.
