Default oil leaking

Okay, I have an oil leak somwhere, and I first thought it was from the oil filter, then I thought it was the oil pan gasket or oil return fitting, but after looking , it's none of those places. There is some oil leaking around the crank pulley though. There is a rubber lining around that area and it seems to be seeping out from there. I have to change my timing belt soon, so what else should I exactly be changing?

Could be your crank seal. Your gonna have to take of the lower cover to get to the timming belt, so youll be able to see if its leaking. Your crank pulley will be comming off too so youll be better off.

There was a recall on some models for the balance shaft seal, that could be the culprit as well.

so can you guys give me a complete list of what I need to buy and replace? Also, I've done some reading on that auto tensioner and That thing is freaking expensive!! Anyway, I'd like to reuse my current one if possible.

alright, go to your mechanic and tell them you want your timing belt replaced. if they are not douchebags than they will tell you a list of stuff to be replaced. Do not just get the belt replaced. Some items will be:

Timing belt
Balance Shaft Seal
Balance Shaft seal retainer
cam seal
valve cover gasket
Crank seal
there are i believe two other belts that they replace as well. one is like a mini timing belt i cant remember what it is called and the other looks more like a v-belt
Hope this helps out.
