ok, i am looking for pics of turbo setups on engines. i am looking at a few possibilities for my 97 lude. my only problem is that i have predator hood and am afraid the the hood will press on the manifold, wastegate, or turbo itself. so if anyone has pics that show clearance, post em up so i can see PLEASE

i'd get a nice clean C/F hood instead and boost the crap out of it.

yeah, but if i spend money on a new hood, then i won't have the $$$ to rebuild the engine and buy a turbo..... choices, choices, choices

There are two spots on the ic piping that touches the hood. Actually it put two small dents on the hood. The dents are not visible on top of the hood thank god.

Is that predator hood made of fiberglass? If it is, be REALLY careful about it, because the turbo heat will melt/discolor the hood......a turbo prelude SI running the FMAX kit and some kind of fiberglass hood here in town had that problem, and now needs a new hood.....just an FYI....

it's fiberglass, but i am planning on puttin dynamat heat sheild to the bottom of the hood and wrapping some things with fiberglass insulation tape, and thermocoating everything else
