No start
I have a 90 lude with the b21. I bought the car with a blown head gasket. Got the car running befor I tore down. Replaced the head gasket put everything back together and now the car won't start. Adjusted the valves, checked my distributor, all my wires. Did get the car to start off of starting fluid but it won't run on gas. Replaced injectors because they were leaking so I'm getting fuel I have spark but won't fire. Any ideas I'm out of them

Re: No start
Your not getting fuel, if it runs on starter fluid and not on the systems gas it is a fuel issue.
Do you have power at the injectors?
Do you have ECU ground pulse to the injectors?
Both need to be checked for when ign. is on AND when cranking to start, 94

Re: No start
i had to go get new injectors. Saw that 2 of them were cracked and pouring fuel out. Bought a used set off a shop that flow tested them and will warranty them for 90 days. It's trying to start on fuel now but just won't kick.

Re: No start
What's pissing me off on this car is, is that it ran before I did the head gasket. The only reason I did the head gasket was that the guy I got it from got it hot and it started pumping antifreeze out the radiator. I drove the car onto the trailer brought it home drove it off the trailer and the next day did the gasket. That's what don't make sense to me

Re: No start
Are you sure you reconnected the grounds?
Plus side is that it's obviously not running because of something you did. Theres only so many steps. You fucked up somewhere and have to track it down.

Re: No start
If it runs on starter fluid then it has to be a fuel issue, not compression, not firing order or timing.
OP. do you hear the fuel pump priming?
If not, make sure you reconnected the thermostat housing ground(s), it is the ground for the PGM-FI Main Relay. 94
