need help hooking up autometer a/f gauge on prelude
I bought the autometer air/fuel gauge and need help hooking it up. There are three wires coming out of the gauges. My car is a 1997 honda prelude sh
black- i know is grounded
violet- connect to white wire on the number 1 oxygen sensor(correct me if i am wrong)
red-12v ignition switch (where do i connect this to and what color is the wires? anyone have a wiring diagram?)
any help is appreciated thanks!

yea, the 12V can be had from the sig lighter. unless its on all the time. you could also pull 12V from the radio harness although I dont know the color of the wire. also, not to bag on you but the autometer air fuel gage is nothing more than dancing lights. It's not accurate enough to tell you any real info about air fuel ratio's. just FYI> good luck with the install!

just put the red wire to any key on power source
the gauge is not worth buying or installing, you would be way better off with a wideband like onefastrx7turbo

you sure i can plug tap into any wire on the ignition key? also i want to wire it so when i turn on my headlight the light on the gauge will also go on. not stay on all the time. thanks for the feedback.

the a/f gauge your talking about does not have a light option, when i said key on, i meant, when you turn the key on, a wire that has power only when the key is on

my bad. i have a boost gauge that i am also hooking up and thinking about connecting the powersource to the headlight so when i switch the the light on all my gauges will go on.
